Kathleen Choi, Managing Editor for The District Management Journal.
Kathy brings to DMC her experience in finance, strategy, and copywriting. She is currently the Managing Editor of The District Management Journal, which focuses in delivering actionable insights to better lead and manage public school districts. Her strong interest in education dates back to her very first job as a child actress for seven years on Children’s Television Workshop’s Sesame Street.
DMC Experiences Include:
- Providing both creative and editorial input for various publications of the District Management Council.
- Managing Editor of The District Management Journal. Through feature articles, case studies, and in-depth thought pieces, the Journal seeks to highlight best practices and strategies for managing human capital, budget/finance, strategic planning initiatives, and stakeholder engagement to enhance district operations.
Other Professional Experiences Include:
- Business and Strategy Consultant for a variety of clients including The Committee of Concerned Journalists (University of Missouri), CNN, and Women.com.
- Vice President of BankBoston. Work focused on working with large multinationals in structuring domestic and international financing needs.
