Executive Action Planning Meeting
April 13-14, 2008, Cambridge, MA

Strengthening On-The-Job Leadership Development

Superintendents at DMC’s annual Strategy Summit in January expressed particular interest in the role of experience in Leadership Development. To explore this concept more deeply, this April’s Executive Action Planning Meeting (EAPM) will examine on-the-job tactics to develop future leaders. Using DMC research, case studies, exercises, and group discussion, EAPM attendees will work together to assess the importance of teams and learning experiences in the leadership development process.

EAPMs are designed for superintendents and/or members of their executive team. This event will be held at The Charles Hotel in Cambridge, MA, on April 13-14, 2008. Meetings will begin with an introductory session at 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoon, April 13th, followed by a welcome reception that evening. On Monday, April 14th, meeting sessions will begin at 8:00am and adjourn by 3:00pm. As with all DMC meetings, member costs to attend will be limited to travel to and from the event. Hotel costs for Sunday night and all meals are paid by DMC, as part of each district’s annual membership.

To register, please complete and submit the information below by March 12, 2008. Districts sending multiple representatives are asked to submit attendee information individually
